Both offer amazing thermal protection for all types of beverages. Cold drinks with or without ice are remaining cold for 1 1/2 days to 2 days without issue. (But you want to drink it up faster than that).
Durability and Leak-Resistance

Editors Note: As far as being leak-resistant, you have to remember the drinkware we are reviewing have straws in the lids, of course they will spill if you knock them over. However, if you change the Yeti to the magna lid, you are more likely to have success as a spill proof tumbler.

However, it’s worth noting that the tumbler does not feature leakproof capabilities. And our experience seeing several that were well used, the straws had been chewed by users. Replacement straws are available.
In contrast, the Yeti Rambler lid with straw is designed with a durable and long-lasting clear lid and straw. It features a molded-in stopper that ensures your straw remains securely in place. Additionally, all Yeti Rambler Lids are shatter-resistant, dishwasher-safe, and free from BPA.
Editors note: I prefer the lids and straws of the Yeti Tumblers. I like them clear, and I prefer the material they are made out of over the Stanley Quencher lids and straws which remind me of a child's sippy cup lid. So my personal review is Yeti comes out ahead for the most secure and aesthetically pleasing lids and straws.

The Yeti Rambler Water Bottles have three different styles of lids for their various sizes of water bottles. From childrens size Yeti Rambler Water Bottle (12 oz with Flip Straw Cap) to the Half Gallon (64 oz) or Full Gallon (128 oz) full size jugs with Mag Lids (when open lids sticks to the top of the jug), and the Rambler bottle with Chug Lid (like a standard water bottle). All three lids have easy carry handles. Each style has it's benefits depending on your use and needs.

The flip straw lid is easy for one hand opening, no straws to mess with. The chug lid resembles a water bottle lid, making it easy to hydrate quickly without a straw. The mag lid provides a bottle opening with an easy way to keep you the lid attached to your larger jug hands free.
In terms of compatibility with car cup holders and backpack pockets, both the Stanley IceFlow Flip Straw Tumbler and the Yeti Rambler Water Bottle are suitable for use in the 12, 18, 20, 26, 35, 40 oz sizes. Once you get into the 64 and 96 oz jug sizes they are obviously getting too big for car cup holders and are heavy to carry in a backpack, thus the top handle for easy carrying.
In appropriate sizes, the Stanley IceFlow’s carrying handle is designed for easy transport and is compatible with car cup holders, as is the Yeti Rambler Water Bottle also designed to fit into standard car cup holders and backpack pockets designed to hold water bottles.

On the other hand, Yeti’s three styles of lids also create a seal that helps avoid any potential spills and splashes while in transit. The lids offer ease of opening and different solutions depending on your drinking style and needs.
