How We Chose Our FAV Stand Up Paddle Board
Using first hand experience, and a lot of research about different types of boards both online and with local Surf Shops, our editor, Deborah Clarke, was ready to graduate from one of her kids paddle boards to one of her own.
"As someone new to paddling, at the age of 60, I was looking for a paddle board that would glide through the water a little easier than the heavy Pelican board I learned to paddle with." says Deborah. One of her neighbors had a fiberglass board, one that was lighter and seemed to glide along the water more easily.
But, Deborah was looking for something even more. She wanted a board that she could easily carry from her lakefront home to the water's edge, all-by-herself.
After further research and help from a local SURF Shop, she found the perfect board - the Adventure All-Rounder! She was so excited to explore the waters of Lake Huron with this new board and has found it perfect for both calm and slightly wavy conditions!

As the name suggests, the Adventure Paddleboarding All Rounder Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) does it all. This is a very functional SUP suited to flat water cruising, but it’s also versatile enough to take in the surf.
